Dedication of Library

On Sunday, October 2nd, the Church Library was dedicated   as the  Louise Flowers Rodgers Children’s Library.

As many of you know, this summer was spent re-modeling the library and re-branding the church library as a children’s space for the use of both the children in attendance at Robinson on Sundays, and for the Children in attendance at Robinson Presbyterian Church Preschool during the week.  After a lot of hard work and long days, the library is   finally ready.

The library was dedicated in honor of long time member Louise Flowers Rodgers in recognition for her many years of hard work and dedication to the Robinson library . The Library was started by the Sullivan Family, and Louise took over the responsibilities from them and dutifully served Robinson through her  work n the church library.

The Library was dedicated in a short ceremony after service on October  2nd, 2016. Ms. Louise was unable to attend the ceremony, but her daughter  Beth attended in her absence. Together Beth and Maureen Mohr, Director of Robinson Presbyterian Preschool, cut the ribbon and officially opened the Louise Flowers Rodgers Children’s Library.
